• Dark (purple or blue) construction paper
• Crayons
• Small cups or bowls
• Paint brushes
• Spoons
• 4 TBSP. Epsom salt
• 1/4 cup hot water

Mix 1/4 cup of hot water with 4 TBSP. of Epsom salt. Stir the mixture to dissolve. Draw freely with the crayons on the construction paper. Brush the drawing with salt mixture. Dry painting completely. Stir the salt each time you put the brush in. *Table salt or rock salt can be substituted. The salt crystals will brush off of the paper when dry.
