Dear Parents and Friends,
We have been getting into the holiday spirit this week with lots of fun activities and, with the help of our Parent Advisory Board our food drive is in full swing! Don’t forget to drop off your canned goods!
This week we were all sad to say goodbye to Tracey Lineburg but we wish her the best of luck. Tracey has been a wonderful asset to our program! However, our new director, Casey Shupe, is very excited about coming out to Crozet! Please introduce yourself and welcome her to our community!
Don’t forget to sign up for our last Elf Club on December 18th! The theme is “Holiday Baking” and we have many fun projects planned!
Pre-K families don’t forget that our Holiday Program and Cookie Exchange are taking place on Monday, December 14th! Please bring in a dozen cookies to share! Our Pre-K students will put on a wonderful show for you all at 6pm and then we will have our cookie exchange afterwards!
Reminders: Please remember to sign up if you want your child to receive pizza for lunch on Fridays! This way we are able to prepare the correct amount! Thanks!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Newsletter BRIGHT BEGINNINGS PRESCHOOL Monday, December 7th- Fall Semester Child Evaluations distributed/ Parent Conference upon request
Transition News Please welcome Casey Shupe who arrives at our Crozet School bright and early Monday morning. As you know, Casey has been with Bright Beginnings for many years and most recently served as the Program Director at our Mill Creek location. Casey will be "shadowing" Miss Tracey Monday through Wednesday and take over the reins full time this Thursday, December, 10th. Tracey had previously requested off next Thursday, Friday and Monday in order to prepare Baby Lineburg's nursery :) so Tracey's last day full time with us will be Wednesday, December 9th. Tracey will be available as needed for us on a part time basis until the baby arrives so we will still be seeing her from time to time. We do anticipate a smooth transition, but it’s so nice to know she's only a minute away! We again thank Tracey for her flexibility and willingness to assist in any way with the transition and predict it will go very smoothly! We know she will be the best mommy ever!!! (And we know she has learned so much about little children from you and your little ones!)

Newsletter BRIGHT BEGINNINGS PRESCHOOL
Reminder: we will be closed on Thursday and Friday of this week (November 26th and 27th) for the Thanksgiving holiday. If your child will be out Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, please make sure to let us know. There are sign-up sheets on the front desk for you to write on if you will NOT be here. Ms. Lee and the Peacocks have made an awesome discovery! They found that if they saved their foil tops to Yoplait yogurts and mailed them in, that 10 cents would be donated to breast cancer research for each one. We are now trying to have the whole school participate. If you want to bring some in, we will send them along. Thanks for your help! We are working on a new cookbook from Bright Beginnings and would love a recipe from each family. Please send one in so you can be part! Please submit your recipe by no later than Monday, November 30th. |
