The Pelican Class
Boy, has it been hot this week! We have welcomed a new student to our class… Mr. Brooks! We played Red, White, Blue Peek. Everyone started to laugh when we said Boo! The children loved looking into the mirror to see who has the biggest smile! We splashed around n the water with noodles everywhere. Everyone liked turning off the lights and shining the flashlight all over the room. This week we did our best to stay cool and have fun! We look forward to more fun next week! Have a great weekend!

The Kangaroo Class
In Gross Motor, music, and movement, we paraded around the room, pretending to be in a parade. We pretended to be zoo animals. We were tall like a giraffe, stomped big like an elephant, roared like a lion. We jumped over a rope; we went under a rope; and around a rope. For fine motor, art, and sensory we put our animals in the water tub. We even blew bubbles and stomped on the bubbles! We easel painted, we made a scrap paper collage, we made animal foot prints. For children’s Humanities we practiced sign language, thank you, please, drink, train, you’re welcome, sit, and more. We worked on our yoga moves- the backwards dog, tree, bird, mouse, and a frog! Have a wonderful weekend!

The Peacock Class
Hello Peacock Families and Friends,
This week in the peacock class we have had so much fun learning and practicing our letters, numbers, and shapes. We have very special flashcards we use during circle time to help us with our learning. This week was also “All American Week”, so we did a lot of red, white, and blue artwork as well as learning about our flag- the colors and the shapes on it! We have had fun with creating master pieces on our easel. We practice taking turns and following painting directions. The whole class really enjoys this activity. Be expecting to see a lot more easel artwork to come home with your child! It’s their favorite activity. Have a great weekend!
