November 16-20th

Dear Parents and Friends,

Please remember to swipe your pass card every day you come in the building and encourage other parents to do so as well. If a family does not have their pass, they need to ring the bell. Please do not let anyone in, even if you recognize them. This is just a safety reminder for all of our families!

There are sign-up sheets on the front desk for next week. If you ARE NOT bringing your child(ren) to school next week, please sign your name on each day's list that you will not be in attendance. This will help us better prepare for our daily activities, Friendship Feasts, and staffing.

Holiday Cookbooks are in the works!

We would love to include a recipe or a tradition from each child, if possible.

Please submit your child’s recipe by Monday November 30th.

Financial Notes:

December tuition is due on Wednesday, November 25 because of the holiday. When the 27th falls on a weekend or a holiday, tuition is due the closest day PRIOR to the 27th. Automatic credit card payments will be charged on Wednesday, November 25.

New tuition rates take effect on November 27, 2009. Please let us know if this is a financial hardship. Copies of the new rates are located at the front desk.

Avoid the crowds! Sign up for the last Elf Club before the holiday shopping season officially begins. See the front desk for more information.

Dear Parents and Friends,

This has been another wonderful (but wet) week at Bright Beginnings! We are very excited about our new website going live and are happy to share with you this weeks news! Parents, thank you so much for your amazing snacks and treats you brought in for Staff Appreciation Day (especially because of the short notice)! We had delicious muffins, chips, bagels, and tasty breads. Thank you for your continued support of our teachers!

Today we are holding our first Elf Club of the season! Ms. Kimberly and Ms. Casey have been preparing all week with fun activities, projects, games, and a tasty dinner! Don't forget to sign up for next week's Elf Club, "Food of Plenty" with Ms. Ryland and Ms. Erin!

Our classes have decided to give back to the community! We will be participating in the 21st Annual Toy Lift. If you would like to join us, please drop off a new toy or book to your child's classroom teacher between now and December 4th. Thank you for helping us get into the holiday spirit!

KMS Photography did a tremendous job on our school pictures! We are looking forward to getting them back soon. Also, Santa is going to KMS Photography (in the Forest Lakes shopping center) Sunday Nov. 29 and Saturday Dec 5 from 9am - 5 pm. They have packages starting at 18$ so if you want to forego the long lines at the mall, stop by!
