Nature Trail
In conjunction with our weekly Project Green, our Mill Creek location has a nature trail with 8 stations designed to allow children to “get back to nature in our own backyard.” We provide Discovery Kits for the teachers (ages 3 and 4) to check out and use when visiting our Nature Trail. Some Kits include:

Birdwatching
Bird books, binoculars, bird calling flutes, and birdfeeders.
Insect Watchers
Magnifying glasses, bug catcher kits, insect picture books.
Tree Identification
Tree picture books, journals and colored pencils to sketch trees, bark and leaf collecting bins.
Weather Station
Wind socks, thermometer, rain gauge, wind chimes, transistor radio to tune into weather station.
